Portland chef attacks Cochon 555’s Atlanta-based organizers
The Cochon 555 tour provoked a’ brawl in a Portland club early Monday morning, according to a TV station in the area.
A chef, Eric Bechard of Thistle restaurant, allegedly attacked Carolina Uribe and her boyfriend Brady Lowe, the Atlanta-based organizers of Cochon 555. The fist fight ensued when the allegedly inebriated Bechard complained that the event featured a pig from Iowa instead of a locally raised one. Police say Bechard struck Uribe and then Lowe interceded. Fists flew and the police used a taser and pepper spray to subdue the two.
Both Bechard and Lowe were arrested but charges have since been dropped.
