In other Krog Street Market news, "Top Chef" alum Eli Kirshtein recently chatted with Atlanta magazine about his upcoming bistro at the Inman Park development, the Luminary. While the menu has yet to be finalized, Kirshtein reveals that the 3,400-square-foot eatery will have a raw bar and beer-heavy beverage options that can be enjoyed on the Krog Street-front patio. Inspired by brasseries around the world (like those in Paris, Montreal, and New Orleans), Kirshtein hopes to give Atlanta the brasserie dining experience it hasn't had since Au Pied de Cochon.

Doraville has a new seafood restaurant called the Crab Boil (h/t Eater Atlanta), which opened August 9 at 6331 Peachtree Industrial Blvd. The classic, Cajun-inspired crab house offers such menu items as crawfish, crab, clams, mussels, shrimp, po' boys, and more.

The Daily Meal has named LongHorn Steakhouse, the Orlando-based chain founded by George McKerrow Jr. in Atlanta in 1981, as the nation's number one steak spot.

Nine Atlanta restaurants (Cakes & Ale, Cardamom Hill, Empire State South, the General Muir, Holeman & Finch, Miller Union, Restaurant Eugene, the Optimist, and Heirloom Market BBQ) made the list.

In a competition hosted by Bombay Sapphire last week, Empire State South's (999 Peachtree St.) Kellie Thorn took home the title of "Most Imaginative Bartender."
