Industry Tavern is now open in Buckhead, occupying the former home of Emerald Coast Coffee & Grille at 3280 Peachtree Road. The casual American gastropub from the folks behind Gibney's Pub, Zucca Pizza, and the Corner Taqueria offers grab-and-go breakfast items for busy Terminus workers, plus lots of options for the more leisurely meals of the day and late-night. Think small plates such as meatball parm sliders, pork wings, and lobster nachos, plus "award-winning" pizzas, hefty burgers, a house sangria, and a sizable list of old-fashioned cocktails.

In case you missed it, Yum Yum Dessert Co. has officially opened in Buckhead. The popular food truck responded to customer demand for its sweet treats by launching an easy-to-visit storefront at 3792 Roswell Road. Look for macaroons, cupcakes, and croissants galore.

Not three months since we brought you news of the Aqua Bistro closure at 264 Pharr Road, a fresh restaurant has filled its shoes. The corner vacancy at the Eclipse condominium building is now home to the flagship locale of Atlanta-based Boneheads. The eatery serves grilled fish and exotic piri piri chicken served in a fast-casual atmosphere.

Ford Fry's forthcoming restaurant at Alpharetta's new upscale mixed-used development, Avalon (2800 Old Milton Parkway), now has a moniker: the El Felix. The chef's very first OTP concept takes its name from his favorite childhood eatery, and will showcase a thoughtful lineup of "old-school" Tex-Mex cuisine. Look for an opening later in 2014. In related Fry news, the unstoppable chef is planning a restaurant in his hometown of Houston, too. It could open as early as the first quarter of 2015.

According to reports, Texas-based Max's Wine Dive will open May 15 at 77 12th St. The "gourmet comfort food" spot we first reported on in October 2013 has secured a chef in Jason Hall, an alum of Saltyard, Livingston, and Woodfire Grill. He plans to capitalize on the gastropub chain's "fried chicken and Champagne" slogan by offering a cross-section of locally focused dishes, along with items such as preserve plates, charcuterie, bar snacks (like caramel corn with cayenne, peanuts, and bacon), and crispy fried Gulf Coast oysters served with strong selections of beer and wine. Patrons can partake of a late-night menu through 1 a.m. on weekends.

Cook-Out - a North Carolina-based chain of back yard-inspired burgers, barbecue, hot dogs, fries, and shakes - will open sometime this month in the former digs of Mrs. Winner's Chicken & Biscuits, located on the northern edge of East Atlanta Village at 403 Moreland Ave. Tomorrow's News Today notes that additional metro locations will soon follow.

James Beard Foundation Award-winning Restaurant Eugene chef Linton Hopkins has teamed up with the head honcho of Marietta's Red Hare Brewing (1998 Delk Industrial Blvd.), Bobby Thomas, to craft a signature beer, dubbed National Common. Described as "an American turn-of-the-century-style California Common," the beer will begin production on Monday, April 21.
