Dinner Owner/chef Doug Turbush is pairing five courses from his kitchen at Seed Kitchen & Bar with local beers from Athens, Georgia.'s own Terrapin Beer Co. to present his restaurant team's first-ever beer dinner, hosted at Stem Wine Bar. Terrapin brand ambassador Austin Walker will be in attendance to discuss the beers with guests, along with Seed and Stem's beverage manager Chris McNeill, who selected the beer pairings for the special evening. The Cook's Warehouse - Decatur Mon., Aug. 17, 7-9 p.m. Simple Abundance Class Chef Billy Allin of Cakes and Ale will lead a cooking class, creating a menu inspired by summer produce. Guests can choose a la carte selections for lunch or a four-course tasting menu for dinner. Menu highlights include a traditional beef dish with stir fried potatoes, red onions, tomatoes, soy sauce, cilantro, aji amarillo and rice; mashed potato dumplings topped with octopus tartare; and a classic Peruvian ceviche fluke, cilantro, aji limo, red onions, choclo and leche de tigre.
