SEE & DO: Lucy Dacus plays the Earl Aug. 18
The Richmond, Virginia singer-songwriter plays songs from Matador reissued album, ‘No Burden’
No Burden by Lucy Dacus
Originally issued by Egghunt Records in early 2016, Lucy Dacus’ debut album No Burden quickly caught the attention of the music realm with warm, nonchalant vocals and self-aware lyrics. So much so, that the Richmond, Virginia singer-songwriter was signed to Matador within a matter of months, reissuing the LP as a physical release in September of that same year. The young-and-hungry musician has continuously been on the road ever since, undertaking a North American leg from July through August, with each headlining show raising money for local charities. Support the Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta by catching Dacus’ glowing indie-rock set. With Molly Burch.
