BLONDIE RETURNS: The Clermont Lounge may finally reopen this weekend.

Get your dollar bills ready. According to a Facebook post, ye olde Clermont Lounge is maybe finally reopening this weekend. While we’ve heard this statement before (the infamous Ponce de Leon strip club was supposed to reopen months ago), the post seems promising. “Pending final approval The Clermont Lounge 2.0 is back this weekend!” the business wrote. “Will keep everyone updated after tomorrow to give exact day!”

Congratulations are in order for Shingo Gokan, creative director of swanky Buckhead bar Himitsu. This past weekend at Tales of the Cocktail’s New Orleans cocktail festival, he was named International Bartender of the Year in the organization’s Spirited Awards.

Aaand we’re back! Arepa Mia is now open in Avondale Estates, at 10 N Clarendon Ave. The new location replaces their old Decatur digs on College Avenue, but serves up all the same Venezuelan grilled corn patties packed with organic goodness.

A third location of Ebrik Coffee Room is coming to the Modera Sandy Springs at 6125 Roswell Rd. Ebrik, which has locations Downtown and in Decatur, will serve coffee, tea, pastries and ready-to-eat items. Bonus with this location: a drive-thru.

McAlister’s Deli is encouraging baseball fans to vote for “Sweet Teas” as the new name for Atlanta’s minor league team, currently dubbed the Gwinnett Braves. If the name sticks, guests will receive a free McFamous Sweet Tea on a to-be-determined date. The new nomenclature is up against gems like: Buttons, Big Mouths, Lamb Chops, Hush Puppies and Gobblers.

Sandy Springs’ Food 101 is now serving Saturday brunch. From 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., lunch items as well as Sunday brunch menu items like French toast with berry sauce and chicken and waffles are available.

Eighteen-year-old Linton Hopkins Jr. will be grilling up hot dogs this Sat., July 29 from noon to 3 p.m. for The Helpful Hotdog at Ponce City Market’s The Shed. Grab a dog before he is off to the Culinary Institute of America, following in his dad’s footsteps.

Staycation anyone? The St. Regis Atlanta has launched a new ceviche series. Guests of the hotel can relax at the pool piazza on Saturdays and Sundays from 12-3 p.m. with a different ceviche recipe from around the world each week. This weekend’s is a Peruvian mixto with baby shrimp, striped bass and baby octopus.

Say yes way, ros̩ at Buckhead’s Bistro Niko. Try flights of ros̩ every Monday through Thursday from 5-7 p.m.

Roswell’s Table and Main celebrates their sixth anniversary Sun., August 13. The free party in the parking lot (1028 Canton St.) runs from 4 to 10 p.m. with live music. For $25, ticketed guests can enjoy all-you-can-eat low country boil by chef Woolery Back and Meating Street BBQ’s Brian Keenan.

We got the deets on sampling at The Fresh Market. Who knew they planned those sampling days? Visit any location on Aug. 5-6 from 2 to 6 p.m. where the Fresh Pick of the Week is grapes. Sample several varieties along with dishes like Waldorf chicken salad and peanut butter and jelly cupcakes.

Is your office close to Southern Bistro in Sandy Springs? If so, check out their new $10 brown bag lunch deal with your choice of six sandwiches or salads, chips and a cookie. If your office orders 20, three are free.

Buckhead’s Restaurant Eugene has a new Friday feature. “Shift into Small Plates” runs every Friday beginning at 5:30 p.m. with curated small plates from chef Chris Edwards along with specially paired craft cocktails.
