Henry Rollins’ travel slideshow comes to Variety Playhouse Jan. 7

The punk renaissance man tells the stories behind his photos from traveling around the world

<a href=”http://henryrollins.com/ Henry Rollins gave up the punk rock tough guy act a long time ago. For more than two decades the former Black Flag and Rollins Band singer has made it his vocation to travel the world, documenting the places he has visited, the people he has encountered, and the enriching cultural exchanges that come along with being a stranger in a strange land. For this show, Rollins combines his spoken-word finesse with a slideshow of photos taken from Antarctica, central Asia, South America, and beyond. He’s a masterful story teller, with a keen eye for detail, and a never-ending supply of energy and enthusiasm for reliving his travels for a live audience.</p><p><i><a href=”http://www.variety-playhouse.com/event/henry-rollins-travel-slideshow/ $35-$160. 7 p.m. (doors).
