Georgia teen's murder captured on Snapchat
The alleged killer sent the video to peers, one of whom is a cop's daughter
Screenshot/FOX 5A Hall County teenager is charged with murder after shooting a young man on his break from work, according to FOX 5.
19-year-old Talon Lowery is now behind bars after he allegedly pulled up to the gas station where 18-year-old Bryan Ramirez was relaxing and shot him in the back with a rifle. Ramirez was pronounced dead soon after the attack.
Authorities were first alerted to the shooting when a police officer's daughter received a video of the incident via Snapchat. "While police was on the scene, a White County investigator contacted us to let us know his daughter had received a Snapchat video of Ramirez's murder," said Hall County Sheriff's Deputy Stephen Wilbanks, according to the report. "To put up something like this on social media then distribute it is unusual."
