Who are you?
Scotty Irving! My show is called Clang Quartet, but it is just me. I was born in Kinston, North Carolina in 1967. Sometimes I smell funny.

Describe yourself in three words.
Talks too much.

If you could start one trend what would it be?
People being nicer to one another.

If you could end what trend would it be?
Crocs. Those things are so ugly even I won't wear them!

“Highway to Hell?” or “To Hell With the Devil?”
As a song, “Highway To Hell.” AC/DC is my favorite band of all time. That said, the inspirations for that song are varied. There are biblical references, but the band was using those to illustrate life on the road WAY before they had the massive success they would have. Also, the Canning Highway in Australia is often referred to as the "highway to hell," but we don't have the space for that explanation here. As far as LIFE is concerned, I try to stick with “To Hell With The Devil,” simply because I am a Christian. I am not one to preach to others, but I tried to live without Jesus for 17 years, and I am too weak to pull it off.

What song do you wish you had written?
There are many. Writing songs is not one of my stronger points, so I am always a little envious of those who can do it well.

What monster scares you the most?
I LOVE monster movies, books, comics, and other things! What is going on in the world of politics is scarier than any of those I have ever seen. Is election day a monster?

Who deserves a raise?
Chad Radford, for having to interview people like Scotty Irving!!!
