It never hurts having a high profile rock ’n’ roll star in your corner, especially if you’re Robert Finley, a partially blind and long overlooked Louisiana soul singer. Enter producer and Black Keys guitarist and vocalist Dan Auerbach to raise Finley’s profile by co-writing, producing and releasing 2017’s Goin’ Platinum!, and adding him to the Easy Eye Sound Revue tour. Finley’s fiery vocals, influenced by greats like Wilson Pickett, can sear paint from walls. Auerbach says that when Finley sings, “it looks like the mic is about to explode.” Prepare to be blown away.

$20. 7 p.m. (doors). The Earl, 488 Flat Shoals Ave. SE. 404-522-3950. www.badearl.com.
