Black History Month Parade

The 13th Annual Juneteenth Atlanta Parade and Music Festival is a high-spirited celebration of freedom, unity, and equality offers two entertainment stages and is known for filling the atmosphere and the streets of Atlanta with the soulful sounds of live music, the pleasant aromas of sage, myrrh and frankincense, The amazing hand-made merchandise from local and international vendors, mouthwatering cuisines, and an array of immersive cultural activities for all attendees. To heighten this already extraordinary experience, the event bolsters a Georgia United, vibrant, televised, Juneteenth Black History Parade featuring captivating floats, fly-over jets, colorful dance troops, community youth organizations, mesmerizing marching bands, and esteemed local and national dignitaries from the state of Georgia. Join us as we commemorate the historic weekend of Juneteenth, marking the emancipation of enslaved Aboriginals in America. Everyone is welcome to be a part of this monumental event where community, equality, human rights, and justice for all merge together to create a better world ​for future generations. ​​

Juneteenth Atlanta Parade & Music Festival offers a three day celebration of black history that includes a Black History Parade, Panel Discussions, Father's day weekend celebration, Gemini Birthday Boogie, Family Reunions, Family Activities, Artist's Market, Black Owned Businesses, Vendors Market, Muti-cultural cuisines, Childrens Arena, Nonstop Edutainment, Speakers tent, Fireworks, Cultural expressions and much more will be presented throughout this event and leading up to the event dates! In celebration of Black History Month, the annual parade features marching bands, entertainers, civic groups, celebrities, artists, entertainment, and more in Atlanta's historic Sweet Auburn District.

Hosted by the non-profit organization Juneteenth Atlanta, this fun and enlightening event features a children's pavilion, a genealogy service, family activities, an arts and crafts market, and a four day music festival. Located at Mozley Park on Martin Luther King Jr. Dr.

The Black History Month Parade features marching bands, entertainers, dignitaries and more and honors the history and accomplishments of black people in the United States. The parade will begin in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Historic District near the King Memorial and continue to the Underground Atlanta plaza where the festivities will continue with live entertainment.

The spirit of Sweet Auburn has announced plans it will hold the 1st Annual Black History Month Parade in the Historic Sweet Auburn District of Atlanta,Georgia. The Black History Month Parade in essence celebrates the culture, heritage, history and accomplishments of Black Americans in the United States and across the world. The parade will feature bands, entertainers, dignitaries, civic groups, celebrities, corporate groups, entertainment and fun for the whole family. The post parade festival will feature live entertainers performing modern music, live arts performers & artist, public speakers, comedians, food, beverages, art and family oriented programs.
