NEWS BRIEF: UGA Professor Quits After Confronting Mask-less StudentA professor at the University of Georgia walked off the job last week when a student refused to comply with a mask requirement. The 88 year old professor was brought back to teach an upper level psychology class and asked a student to wear a mask. When she put it on without fully covering her face, he asked again. When she ignored this request, the Professor walked.
