The City of Atlanta is taking steps to regulate AirBNB and other short term rentals within the city. City government officials take the view that renting your house is akin to operating a hotel — so a bed tax is warranted. The city is also looking to curb the rental of “party houses” that are disrupting neighborhoods around Atlanta.
