A virtual event that aims to increase participation in clinical trials by members of marginalized communities will take place this month. The AWARE for All-Atlanta Forum — free and open to the public — will be held Nov. 16-18 from 6 to 7 p.m., hosted by the Center for Information and Study on Clinical Research Participation. It is designed for those who are usually absent from research for treatments of vaccines, medical devices, and therapeutic drugs.
