A nonpartisan group of climate scientists who are also mothers have released a to-do list aimed at engaging 85 million American mothers in the fight against climate change. Science Moms is presenting online resources and events to activate mothers across the country backed by $3 million in educational commercials that will run throughout the rest of the year “with a particular focus on Georgia moms,” a press release said. “Science Moms created this plan after yet another year of governmental inaction on climate change — seeking to energize moms by reducing carbon pollution at home, sharing climate concerns with friends and family, and holding elected officials accountable.” sciencemoms.com
