Is President Joe Biden a secret Braves fan? He certainly was very complimentary of the current World Series Champions when they visited the White House on Monday.

He said the 2021 Atlanta Braves team would be “forever known as the upset kings of October,” and called their underdog win one of “history's greatest turnarounds.”

A lifelong sports fan, Biden dubbed the series an “unstoppable, joyful run.” Biden continued, “But none of it came easy ... people counting you out. Heck, I know something about being counted out.”

During his speech, President Biden took time out to praise Atlanta Braves legend Hank Aaron, the home run king who also made waves outside of sports for his strength battling countless racist attacks as well as for being a strong advocate during the Civil Rights movement. "This team is defined by the courage of Hank Aaron,” remarked the President. "He'd have been there every step of the way with us if he was here.”

Will the Atlanta Braves be able to hold-onto the title of World Series Champions for the second season in a row? We’ll have to wait to find out. espn.com
