Join us for an opening reception for Ruth Dusseault’s exhibition “The Detail and the Panorama.” THE DETAIL AND THE PANORAMA: Inspired by photographer Allan Sekula’s maxim, “all one needs to know is the detail and the panorama,” artist Ruth Dusseault has spent decades recording the social, political, and geographic landscape. In this mid-retrospective, her methodologies come to the surface as she explores the city through infrastructure, the internet through ethnography, and everyday reality through everyday utopias.
