From the venue:
Mezzogiorno, which means “midday” in Italian, is a term of endearment for southern Italy, a region where the villages glow in the blazing sunshine, and the azure blue waters abound with life. Virginia-Highland hotspot La Tavola will celebrate the region’s rustic coastal cuisine with a limited-time-only menu this April – complete with a variety of special dishes courtesy of executive chef Andrew Peterson. Make a reservation to try the focaccia crostini with buttermilk ricotta, fava bean, lemon, and mint; emmer spaghettini with crab, shrimp brodetto, smoked trout roe and fine herbs; or risotto nero with firefly squid, preserved Meyer lemon and cured cherry tomato. No matter which specialty dish you choose, you’ll be sure to glow with every bite.
Reservations highly recommended.
