From the venue:
Stories are humankind’s oldest art form, and still our most precious technology. They are everywhere you look, and their uses are infinite. They can educate children, or frighten them into behaving. Stories can challenge, inspire, terrify, persuade, or comfort. They can be a vehicle for passing culture from one generation to the next, or they can simply entertain. Here at the Odd’s End, we love a good story.
This June 6-9, join us to celebrate the art of the narrative at our next show “Storytime!”. Nearly twenty local artists will be telling their tales through paintings, sculptures, written text, and spoken word. Whether you like monster riddled epics, witch doctors from the low country, or prefer quiet contemplations about the weight of a robin’s egg, you’re sure to hear something you won’t soon forget.
