Defend Media Freedom Panel

The Jimmy Carter Presidential Library joins with the British Consulate-General in Atlanta and the Canadian Consulate-General in Atlanta for a reception and discussion of Press Freedom around the world. Panelists include: Cynde Strand, Executive Director of Coverage for International News at CNN; Paula Rodriguez, ten time Emmy winning journalist; Richard Griffith, President, Georgia 1st Amendment Foundation; Andrew Staunton, HM Consul General and Nadia Theodore, Canadian Consul General. The panel will be moderated by Charles Davis, Dean of the Grady College of Journalism, UGA. The event is free but seating is limited.
