Collecting Conversation

Join contemporary art collector Lindsay Marshall, Curator of Works on Paper Andi McKenzie, and PhD candidate in Emory’s Art History Department Catherine Barth for a conversation about the life and work of photographer Minor White. Marshall was an early collector of White’s work and of others in his circle including Edward Weston, Ansel Adams, and Rose Mandel. Barth’s graduate study has included extensive work in the Minor White archive at the Princeton University Art Museum, and McKenzie curated the exhibition Minor White, Unburdened: Photographs from the Collection of Lindsay W. Marshall, on view in the Works on Paper Gallery October 12 - December 15, 2019.
