The workshop will focus on first pages — fiction or narrative nonfiction (memoir) of works-in-progress, and demonstrate just how much can be gleaned from analyzing and critiquing a first page: how much a first page can tell us about our works-in-progress, and how getting a first page just right can carry us far toward the success of a work as a whole.
