David Tenenbaum – (David T) – is a professional musician, songwriter, and producer who plays guitar, saxophone and keyboards. A lifelong lover of soul, rock n’ roll, and rhythm and blues, his performing and songwriting career began at the early age of 12 with “The Soul-Sations,” an eight-piece soul band that he formed and successfully managed up until his college days. In the years that followed, he juggled a corporate career and family while continuing to play in various bands, as well as to write and record music.

David T’s original music is produced and performed under his band name “David T & Friends.” His unique scores and sound bear the strong influences of his all- time favorite musicians – The Beatles (for their melodies and harmonies), James Brown (for his soul groove), and Jimi Hendrix (for his tasteful guitar licks). David T’s songs span the realm of those music genres and others, including Funk, Rock, Blues, Folk, and Pop – plus are noted for their creative arrangements and instrumentation. One song might be an acoustic guitar paired with classical cellos, while the next could feature the band’s “full throttle” – a power-packed horn section with a funky clavinet.

David T’s musical aspirations are: to create music with a beat, melody and message that engages and inspires listeners; to use his musical skills and experience to help others in the profession; and to enjoy the company and diversity of people brought together by the universal language of music.
