The Mayor wants to give every ATL cop a $5000 raise in 2021. Yet on Friday night, June 13th, Rayshard Brooks, a 27 year old unarmed black man who accidentally fell asleep at a Wendy’s, was shot and killed by Atlanta Police Officers. MURDERERS DO NOT DESERVE RAISES. WE MUST DEFUND THE ATLANTA POLICE DEPARTMENT. On June 19, the City of Atlanta will convene to approve/reject/amend the 2021 budget. As it stands, it calls for massive increases in police funding. We need this budget amended! #defundthepolice #justiceforRayshard
