From the venue:

Over three days in February, volunteers will gather to celebrate John Lewis’s legacy, Georgia Arbor Day, and Black History Month by planting flowering trees in Freedom Park. Join us in planting trees like dogwood, redbud, and magnolia to create the John Lewis Flowering Forest. These trees will provide beautiful bright colors in early spring plus cleaner air, cool shade, and all around improved habitat for humans and wildlife living in our community. Planting tasks include digging holes with shovels/mattocks, untangling roots with your hands, mulching, watering, and cleaning up your area.
