Martin, Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology, will explain how the activity involved in creating a work of art has the attributes of optimal functioning, which is also called a flow state. He will discuss the history of research on flow and happiness. Dr. Martin’s research interests include wellbeing and happiness, justice and inclusion, and political and moral psychology.
