Bare Truth Exhibition Opening Reception

Harlem-based underground artist Reginald Rousseau aka Big Art, is proud to announce his upcoming Atlanta exhibition “Bare Truth”. The exhibition will be held at the Southwest Art Center and will run from June 24 thru July 15, 2022. The exhibit will feature 15 newly completed representational portraits that celebrate black life and highlight the various archetypal roles that help define the culture.

With his signature “composited blending” technique, Reginald’s acrylic paintings incorporate vibrant colors, decorative patterns, and multilayered textures. “Ultimately, I want my paintings to provoke a wide range of emotions in the viewer: joy, frustration, confidence, humor, and passion.” says the artist.
