Acclaimed Israeli artists Maya Gelfman and Roie Avidan return to Atlanta with their street-art project to create a new mural, “Mantra”, for CORE Dance on the downtown Decatur Square. Join us Thursday, April 27th at 7:00 PM for the Mural Reveal & Reception. The event is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is encouraged and can be found on our website.

As always, the artists will use their unique technique of “drawing” on walls with tangible materials (yarn, foam). “Mantra“ focuses on the power of perspective as a means for growth and overcoming difficulties, a message that has always been true but one which is becoming all the more crucial in these tumultuous times. By utilizing the tools at our disposal, the challenges we face can shift from being unbearable burdens, and instead serve as catalysts, as fertile ground from which to grow, to bloom.
