It’s clear that Lancey is not one to be defined, and in that medium is where he thrives. After making music for just under two years, it could be easy to assume that music was his chosen path. Lancey Foux is confident. After admitting that he started recording music for fun and making over 500 tracks by freestyling over downloaded YouTube instrumentals, he first popped up on many people’s radar in 2015. The release of his first full-length EP, Pink, got people looking. His latest project First Degree further cemented his place in the hip-hop landscape and quickly led him to become an icon in the underground hip-hop community.
