Thomas Deans Fine Art is proud to present “Thaddeus Radell: That Further Shore,” an important exhibition featuring new paintings by the acclaimed New York artist. This marks Radell’s third solo exhibition with the gallery and promises to be a highlight of the city’s arts calendar this fall. Thaddeus Radell is known for his distinctive artistic vision. Radell’s figurative paintings have been described by the critics as “poetic, mysterious, and epic.” His approach to color, composition, and texture in figural representation is unique; and subtle observations lie below the “raw tectonic forces and ragged, humming planes of color.” Exploring the interplay of light and shadow, form and abstraction, the artist invites viewers to embark on a visual journey that transcends traditional boundaries. The exhibition, which runs from October 6 through November 13, 2023, opens with a reception for the artist on Friday, October 6, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
