Hootie & the Blowfish - Summer Camp with Trucks Tour

CRITIC’S PICK: Time-travel back to the mid- 90s when both these now iconic pop-rockers were in their prime with inescapable radio hits. Georgia’s Collective Soul have never stopped releasing new music (their recent Here to Eternity disc is as good as anything they have done), but what will likely fill the seats this evening is the return of Hootie. The Darius Rucker fronted band dissolved in 2005, reformed for one album in 2019, but hasn’t toured since. Rucker has become a major country star, so it’s encouraging that he returns to where everything started. It should be a fun night, especially if you were a 99X listener back in the day.— Hal Horowitz
