Event Description
The Atlanta Room’s 404 Day bash features a trio of bands bringing the sounds of ATL’s indie/alt scene - both distinct and relatable, with with a certain nonconformist flair. Opening acts Orpheus & The Animals and The Frontrunners both bring new originals to the stage, with headliner Them In Uniform celebrating their debut single, Footprint, out when the clock strikes midnight!
Them in Uniform is a spirited indie rock trio formed by Georgia Tech students Madeline Simpson and Eli Scornik, who bring a dynamic blend of vocals and guitar, complemented by the rhythmic precision of drummer Tyler Morgan. The band infuses traditional indie rock with a touch of angst that resonates with college students and rock aficionados alike. With each performance, Them in Uniform invites listeners to join their sonic journey, where rock meets a dash of collegiate charm.
Hailing from Atlanta, GA - specifically Georgia Tech - indie rock outfit The Frontrunners specialize in curating distinct mixes of alternative classics, rock anthems, and original songs. Their variety creates appeal across a range of scenes, from breezy brewery patios to eclectic venues. The Frontrunners’ original works untangle the themes of maintaining peace, resilience, and individuality amidst uncertainty, artfully combining doctrinal references with tongue-and-cheek observations.
Orpheus & The Animals is a project we started during mid-summer of Atlanta in 2023. We create music that we like to call indie fusion which gives us freedom to explore combinations of many genres. We combine indie, psychedelic rock, folk, jazz, and math rock in different ways, all in an effort to bring together a sound that is very unique but not just for the sake of being different.
