Steve Earle, a celebrated singer-songwriter, learned from legends like Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark. His songs have been recorded by icons like Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings. His album “Guitar Town” topped the country charts in 1986, becoming an Americana classic. “Copperhead Road” was named a Tennessee state song in 2023. He won consecutive GRAMMY® Awards for albums like “The Revolution Starts...Now” and “Washington Square Serenade.” His latest album “Jerry Jeff” (2022) pays tribute to his mentor. Earle is also a novelist and short story writer. He produced albums for Joan Baez and Lucinda Williams. As an actor, he appeared in films and TV series like “The Wire.” He wrote scores for plays and hosts a show on Sirius Radio. In 2020, he entered the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, and in 2023, he was honored by the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music.
