Join us for a presentation about the Alabama Maskoke Eco-Village followed by a Maskoke food demonstration/tasting.
Marcus Briggs-Cloud (Maskoke) is a graduate of Harvard Divinity School and Received a PhD in Ecology from the University of Florida’s School of Natural Resources and the Environment. His work intersected with Ecology, Linguistics, Genetics, Ecofeminism, and Liberation Theology.
Tawna Little received a BA in American Studies from the University of Oklahoma and Maskoke Language Certificate from the College of Muscogee Nation. Her academic research focused on the impacts of PTSD in Indigenous women, Indigenous health, and cultural disparities among Indigenous women.
