Tems: Born In The Wild Tour

CRITIC’S PICK: Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer Tems is easily one of the best artists to pop off in the post-pandemic music landscape, and even before she unleashed her critically acclaimed debut album — titled “Born in the Wild” — back in June, Tems had already constructed a gorgeous catalog of music, including 2020’s “For Broken Ears,” 2021’s “If Orange Was A Place,” and her instantly classic contributions to the 2022 “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” soundtrack. Needless to say, her hot streak continued with her debut album this summer, and now it’s time for the Lagos-born artist to take her talents on the road for her first-ever headlining world tour. This Friday, she is coming to Atlanta for a sold-out affair at the Coca-Cola Roxy, and although the resale prices leave much to be desired for fans on a budget, this is Tems that we’re talking about. At the end of the day, this is a rare opportunity to see one of the most talented global superstars in a relatively intimate venue, so if you’re able to pay resale, definitely go for it. - Joshua Robinson
