Cultivate New Audiences and Disseminate Your Work
How do you engage your audience? More importantly, how do you expand it? There are valuable methods to engaging and growing your audience, including Zines, photography books, social media, and public speaking. Micah Cash will discuss a variety of options, crafted products, and strategies to help you disseminate your work, find new audiences, and enrich your relationship with patrons.

Micah Cash is a visual artist, educator, and writer. Micah exhibits nationally in both solo and group exhibitions, most recently at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art in New Orleans and The Mint Museum in Charlotte, North Carolina. He speaks widely about his work and the cultural constructs of landscape. He has published two photography books: Waffle House Vistas, published by The Bitter Southerner in 2019 and Dangerous Waters: A Photo Essay on the Tennessee Valley Authority, published by University of Tennessee Press in 2017. His work has been featured in POLITICO Magazine, The Atlantic, Fraction Magazine, and Places Journal. He received his MFA from the University of Connecticut and his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of South Carolina. He lives and works in Charlotte, North Carolina.
