WHY: In July, the ACS Book Club will read Hannah S. Palmer’s Flight Path: A Search for Roots Beneath the World’s Busiest Airport. The book is both an investigative history of urban Atlanta and a memoir.
In it, Palmer examines, place, power, Southern progress, and race through the lens of development at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Join the Atlanta Studio Book Club for a conversation about the communities that existed before the expansion of the airport’s infrastructure.
