The talented local act is rapper-singer-songwriter extraordinaire who puts his raw emotion and energy into every song, regardless of whether he’s barring up on songs like the Jelani Imani-assisted “Calypso” or singing the blues on tracks like “Before the Flood.” For an artist who excels in creating across genres, Wiley From Atlanta has a true gift for blending multiple styles and sounds together. His enthralling 2023 album, “Killing Time Before The Flood,” is a great introductory record if you aren’t yet familiar with Wiley, and you’re bound to hear some tracks from that project at the show on Saturday. Wiley from Atlanta is an independent rapper, singer, and songwriter from Atlanta’s East side. He is best known for his distinctive delivery and soulful vocals, as well as his unique and imagery-laden approach to songwriting and album concepts.
Wiley blends tones of rock, soul, R&B, grunge, & Hip-Hop to defy genre and create a lane that is all his own. A storyteller at heart with the voice of a soul singer, Wiley is inspired by an eclectic range of artists from Outkast and Gnarls Barkley to Radiohead and Tom Waits.
