Join Works on Paper Curator Andi McKenzie for a conversation with collectors Wes and Missy Cochran of LaGrange, Georgia. Wes and Missy, ardent supporters of Black artists and African American art, built a collection comprised of works created by both prominent and under-recognized artists. This conversation will center on relationships turned friendships; salon, workshop, and studio visits; and growing a collection ethically.

This program is held in conjunction with the exhibition ’‘Together: Selections from the Cochran Collection of African American Art’‘, curated by Andi McKenzie, curator of works on paper, and Alexandra Nelson, Schulz Intern, Spelman C25.

It is free and open to the public, but registration is required. ’‘Together: Selections from the Cochran Collection of African American Art’‘, will be open for viewing prior to the program from 6-7:30 p.m.
