Spruill Gallery is pleased to present Hybridity + beauty, featuring Heather Deyling’s ongoing series “Invented Hybrids” and the botanical abstractions of Manty Dey. This exhibition, opening June 20, presents an intriguing contemporary examination of the natural world through sculpture and paint.
About this exhibition, Shannon Morris, Gallery Director, stated, I am excited to bring together the visual textures created by Manty Dey’s floral abstractions with the “Invented Hybrids”, a series featuring drawings and sculptural forms by Heather Deyling. The work is beautiful, it is playful and it really makes us think about the wonder of the world we inhabit.
View Hybridity + beauty from June 20 through September 6, 2024. A closing reception will be held on August 22, 2024, 6-9 p.m. and the Artist’s Talk will follow on August 24, 2024, 3-4 p.m.
