About this event

In 1924, André Breton penned the first Surrealist Manifesto. 2024 marks a century of Surrealism's profound impact on the creative spirit. "Echoes" is a celebration of this legacy, inviting submissions from artists whose works have been influenced by the themes, techniques, and revolutionary zeal of Surrealism.

Exhibition Overview: "Echoes" seeks to showcase contemporary artworks that serve as an exploration of dreams, the subconscious, automatism and the irrational—themes central to Surrealist ideology. This exhibition aims to provide a platform for artists to demonstrate how these realms serve as lenses through which to view and respond to the complexities of our world.

There will be a bar offering a limited selection of wine, beer, water, and soft drinks available to purchase.

This exhibition is open to all ages; however, parents are advised to use discretion. The show may include depictions of bones, subtle nudity, and imagery that some may find unsettling or not suitable for younger viewers.

Opening Reception: August 8th 6pm-9pm. Exhibition on view until September 29th
