Jason Isbell, Fox Theater—Americana icon Isbell tours without his longtime 400 Unit for this rare acoustic show. He’ll be playing music from his similarly unaccompanied new album Foxes in the Snow. While some may miss the muscular musical fireworks generated when on stage with his veteran backing musicians, this exposes a more intimate side of Isbell’s talents, focusing on his emotive voice and natural grasp of melody. He will likely also recreate some older tunes in this stripped-down format, which should thrill those coming to hear those songs and show just how beautifully crafted they are.
