Sir Woman, Uncle Roy & Spice, Isaia Huron, The Masquerade — Austin’s Sir Woman is the alias of R&B singer Kelsey Wilson, the front woman (and violinist) of a band called Wild Child for the past 15 years. On her own, she bathes in the waters of 70s soul and funk which her bio correctly describes as “powerhouse R&B.” Imagine a combination of Chaka Khan and Stevie Wonder and you’ve got the general idea. She’ll play tracks from two terrific new conceptually related albums, If It All Works Out and If It Doesn’t, released in the past few months. — Hal Horowitz
From the venue:
To say that Sir Woman has taken the crowded Austin music scene by storm this past year, would be a massive understatement. With the release of their full-length self-titled debut, the band has quickly skyrocketed to headliner status at Austin’s most venerable clubs, and garnered Artist Of The Year at the 2023 Austin Music Awards. …Sir Woman | 05/01/2025 7:00 PM
