KJ and The FunkMaysons are a high-energy, 9-piece funk band from Atlanta, GA. Formed in 2023, this powerhouse collective of funk lovers came together in the Edgewood Neighborhood, united by their passion for 70’s-inspired improvisational funk. What began as an instrumental project took a thrilling turn with the addition of Kelly Jewell—a powerhouse vocalist whose distinctive sound has become essential to their signature style.
