It’s open to local blues lovers and those who would like to get a dose of the music that continues to attract all ages due to its universal concepts and rootsy vibe. Our next Gathering & Jam will be on Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 3pm-6pm and is being presented by Marvelous Marvin Presents and will be at the Olde Courthouse Tavern in Fayetteville, Georgia. Our host band is Andy Johnson & Roofdog. Marvelous Marvin Mahanay is long time ABS supporter who has been working hard to bring the blues to the Southside of Atlanta. Andy Johnson is also a long time supporter of the ABS and has represented us in the International Blue Challenge in Memphis. Don’t miss him and his band Roofdog in this rare up close and personal venue. Olde Courthouse will be serving up great food and drink for us and we always have a good time there. We will have a jam, so bring your instruments and voices and show us what you’ve got. We will be raffling off prizes of Cathead Vodka, CD Packages, and other surprises. Proceeds go toward our Blue Flame Fund to help local musicians in need.
