From the venue:
Join us on January 18, the two-year anniversary of Manuel “Tortuguita” Paez Terán’s assassination, for a mass mobilization in Atlanta. Together, we will honor their legacy and amplify our fight for justice.
The Stop Cop City movement has grown into a global struggle against systemic injustice, achieving incredible milestones—occupying the forest, rallying historic public turnout at city council meetings, and making Atlanta’s first people’s referendum a reality. Despite the challenges, our collective strength proves we can build a better, more just world. United, we push forward with hope and determination.
Let’s make 2025 the year of mass resistance. Together, we will ensure hatred has no power—no chance to govern, roll back civil rights, deport millions, expand the prison-industrial complex, escalate wars, perpetuate genocide, or erase the hard-won victories of our struggles.
Meet us on Saturday, January 18, at 1 PM at the Old Fourth Ward Skate Park to build a culture of resistance and solidarity.
The time is now. Let’s make January 18 a day of resistance—united, ungovernable, and determined to lay the foundation for a just and equitable future. Together, we can create a new way forward.
