Spruill Gallery presents “EngageArt with Emma Chammah and Rial Rye”

Opening Reception: Friday, January 17, 6-8 p.m.

Artists’ Talk: Saturday, January 18, 3 p.m.

Engage with interactive artworks and designs by Emma Chammah and Rial Rye. Emma and Rial challenge traditional gallery constructs by creating spaces for empathy and healing through hands-on interaction with their works. These artists invite visitors to explore elements of their works by engaging in actions, such as moving objects from one place to another or trying on wearable works of art designed for therapeutic use. (Directive texts and label copy will guide visitors through the EngageART experience.)
