From the venue:

'Temporal Reflections presents new work by Atlanta artist Michael Reese. The exhibition features Reese’s I’m Sirius - B'' series — cyanotypes layered with acrylic and ink.

Reese situates his series within a dialogue of futurist philosophy, diasporic imagination, and temporal fluidity. “I am investigating time travel as a transformative means to reimagine the past and envision a future where African Americans are not merely participants but architects of a cosmic narrative,” he explains. Through this, Reese explores “the intricate relationship between futurist philosophy, the cosmos, and the fluidity of time… to inspire dialogue about our place in the universe and the importance of creativity in shaping our futures.”

The works in Temporal Reflections embody this vision. Each piece carries a sense of navigation through the use of signals, loops, maps, and symbols—suggesting that history is not a closed system but a space we can chart anew.
