From the venue:
Founded in 1991 by Hwee-Eng Y. Lee, the Atlanta Chinese Dance Company (ACDC) educates and entertains audiences about Chinese and Chinese American history and culture through the art of Chinese dance.
Most notably, ACDC helped showcase Atlanta to the world as performers in the opening and closing ceremonies of the 1996 Olympic Games. For more than ten years, they performed the "Chinese variation" in John McFall's version of the Atlanta Ballet's The Nutcracker at the Fabulous Fox Theatre.
A musical journey around the globe, Spivey Hall's Summer Global Music Festival presents seven ensembles representing different regions and cultures. Includes arts & crafts and instrument petting zoos.
