BreezeFest 2025, Northside Tavern: There is no better way to discover and revel in Atlanta’s blues scene than attending both days of this annual benefit in memory of Carlos Capote, one of the city’s most respected talents and band leaders. He was always there to help others so the fact that the profits from these shows go to the Atlanta Blues Society’s Blue Flame Fund which “assists musicians and club personnel in times of need” makes them all the more essential. At press time, there wasn’t a list of acts, but be assured that any major Atlanta-based outfit and/or musician will contribute their talents. — Hal Horowitz

BreezeFest is back! With a NEW date – now in June instead of April.
This event features some of the best Blues bands from Atlanta and beyond.
Proceeds from this event will go to the Atlanta Blues Society’s Blue Flame Fund to assist musicians and club personnel in times of need. This is what Carlos would do, so we’re carrying the torch!
